:: 2017 Spring Anime - What to Watch? ::

Image
Salam, good day peeps! So, it's that time again. Time to write another anime watch list...and this is for the previous Spring. I must admit, despite it being spring and all the romance should be bundled in animations , I must say this season has a few good anime releases and it is not romance all the way. Laughs . Read: In reviewing, I will be focusing on those I have finished watching. As for those I have yet to finish, I will simply introduce its title. With a different kind of writing for this watch list, let's get into it! Shall we? credit:myanimelist Boku no Hero Academia Season 2 Alternate title: My Hero Academia Season 2 Source: Manga (Horikoshi Kouhei) Episodes: 25 (continuation until the end of Summer) Duration: 24 minutes per ep. :: The Shape of Voice ::

Salam, good day peeps! How's life for y'all? Mine has been a bit more than ordinary... probably because two weeks ago, it was holiday and the month of Ramadan finally arrived this year. A lot has happened since few days but yeah, I'm living my life with all might. ANYWAY, THAT'S NOT WHY I'M WRITING TODAY! Yesterday, I watched this particular animation film that has been receiving great reviews from all anime and manga fans. So, I thought "maybe I should share a piece of my mind here too." Without further ado, let's start! Credit: myanimelist(.)net The film I'm going to talk about is entitled Koe no Katachi or translated as The Shape of Voice . The film was adapted based on the manga of same name written and illustrated by Ouima Yoshitoki and it tells the story of Ishida Shouya , a wild young boy and Nishimiya Shouko , a deaf young girl. When Shouko first transferred to his class, Shouya and the rest of his classmates learned about her ...

:: 2016/17 Winter Anime - My List ::

Image
Salam, good day peeps! It has been a long~ time since I'm writing here. Wait no further! Here I am to ...update my virtual-web-filled-blog with another anime recommendation! This time, it's 2016/17 Winter edition.  'Not again, Nadie.' 'Yes. (Slaps myself in the face.)' Anyway, it just happened that I have been blessed with good WiFi connection at home and thus, I was able to catch up with few of those anime(s) during the season. Do take note; whatever anime(s) I have been listed and recommending here, I personally finished it and for the anime in which I have watched 1st episode for impression purposes, I'll just list it out just like that. So, let's get started. Shall we?

:: Spring 2016 Anime Review ::

Image
Salam, good day peeps! The month of April has arrived but here I am, thinking what to do with my life while waiting for you-know-what. Anyway, spring is here and new anime has been streamed online. There are TOO MANY anime introduced this season despite the lack of shoujo genre anime - yep, my favorite genre ever. I mean like, it's freaking spring but where's the romance, bro?  Heh, romantic much. Nonetheless, those anime are quite amazing and I am giving you guys my personal to-watch list and perhaps giving my own opinions about those. I need to tell though, that this might be a LONG one, so be nice. Hehehe . Okay, without further ado, let's go! Credit: myanimelist First is Joker Game . This anime is an adaptation from a novel written under the same name that narrated the formation of D-Agency founded by Lieutenant Col. Yuki alongside 8 final members; Miyoshi, Kaminaga, Jitsui, Fukumoto, Tazaki, Amari, Hatano, and Odagiri whose names and lives are all fake - yes,...

:: The Heart Wants to Shout ::

Image
Salam, good day peeps! O-kay. So, I've mentioned in several entries that I'm currently watching anime and then gave my own view of the anime watched ... while waiting for my posting. Ah, that again. Huh.  Anyway, during this time, I have not focusing much on reviewing anime movies except for Kokurizaka Kara   since I was indulging myself in series instead. Hahaha. Thus, came the idea to write a second anime movie. Without further ado, let's get started! Let me introduce, this movie entitled Kokoro ga Sakebitagatterunda (KokoSake) , or more known as The Anthem of the Heart . Just for the record, the actual translation to its Japanese title is as shown in this entry title. Yeah. Released on September 2015 in Japan, this movie tells the story of Naruse Jun , a very quiet girl who became a part of Charity Community alongside her three classmates; Sakagami Takumi, Nitou Natsuki,and Tasaki Daiki . Unable to speak straightforwardly due to past incidents that led to her par...

Image
Salam, good day peeps! O-okay! Here I am, updating my blog while waiting for my posting and taking care of my grandma at home. Without further ado, let's go!

:: Which Studio Creates Which Anime? pt.2 ::

Image
Salam, good day peeps! (Yeah, before moving on to the point of this entry, I just want to update you guys that my grandma's been discharged from hospital and currently staying in my home. Hehe. *pats myself*) O-kay! Today, as the title suggested, I'm going to do the second part of introducing which animation studio created which anime that you may have watched. So, let's go!

:: Which Studio Creates Which Anime? pt.1 ::

Image
Salam, good day peeps! So...basically, I have been watching anime at home now that I don't have to think about campus-related matters any longer and I'm so relieved . That's main reason as to why I have been writing anime-related blog entries and probably that's why I will be writing another one relating to anime. This time, let me introduce the  animation studios that produced and currently produce your favorite anime and other anime you may have watched all this time . For now, I'll be looking at 4 studios, so let's go! YAY!

:: 2015 Anime Review ::

Image
Salam, good day peeps! So...here I am again to update and also to do another anime review for a few anime I have watched during leisure time. Hahaha . Without further ado, let's go! On the right side is the anime entitled High School Star Musical   or most known as STARMYU   and yep, this anime tells the story of 1st year high school student, Hoshitani Yuta, who dreamed of becoming a star as his idol whom he first saw on one rainy day. He became good friend with Nayuki Toru on the first day of school and together they went for an audition organized by the Kao Council, the well-known student council comprised of 5 seniors from the musical department. Both of them alongside Tengeji Kakeru, Tsukigami Kaito and Koga Shu were almost disqualified when one of the Kao Council members, Otori Itsuki, was interested on them and thus, Yuta, Toru, Kakeru, Kaito and Shu became a team. Well, what I like about this anime was the fact that they were indeed musical. I mean, just read th...

:: Anime Review : Fall 2015 ::

Image
Salam, good day peeps! So, I'm just watching some anime today...and guess what? I'm going to do my Fall (autumn) 2015 anime review. Do take note that the anime mentioned are those I watched now. So, let's get started! First one is Shingeki! Kyojin Chuugakkou  in which embarks on the journey of Eren, Mikasa and Armin alongside their comrades; Jean, Bertholt, Sasha, Christa and Ymir, and seniors; Levi, Hange, and Rico at Titan Junior High School. The theme of this anime is very opposite to Shingeki no Kyojin   which has a much darker and serious-like theme . Since this is a parody of the previous anime itself, there will be a lot of funny gigs in each episode and you will not be disappointed with what you will see. Laughs. For those who are not fond with Shingeki no Kyojin  and more likely to relieve stress with laughter, how about watching this anime? I assure you guys, each episode runs for about 18 minutes and you will not realize the time until it finishes. N...

:: Manga Review : SAKISAKA Io ::

Image
Salam, good day peeps! For today's post, here I am to write my first manga a.k.a. Japanese comic review. Straight to the point. Yeah.  First is Ao Haru Ride ( Blue Spring Ride ), created by Sakisaka Io in 2011. This comedy-romance and school life manga gives a story of Yoshioka Futaba, a first-year high school girl who wanted to reset due to her past middle school experiences by changing her personality. However, it did not go well as she met her first love, Tanaka Kou in the same high school and began to accept herself and then fight for Kou's attention and love(perhaps). The reason I want to recommend this is, I personally how determined and absolute Futaba is when she wanted to redeem her past mistakes towards the man she really loves. Also, I personally think that all of us can relate ourselves when chasing for something we wished for, when reading this. So, for those who enjoys love dramas and love triangles, you may go read the manga right away. By the way, if y...

:: Anime Review - Psycho-Pass ::

Image
Salam, good day peeps! Before begin another review, may I say ... IT'S STILL HOLIDAY!? Yes! Another day without thinking about le campus. Okay, here goes! Psycho-Pass, which was first released on the fall season in 2012, was an anime centering the lives of law-abiding police officers and enforcement officers. This action-psychological-science fiction-thriller anime will bring you into the lives of Tsunemori Akane, a young lady who became one of the Criminal Investigation Division alongside Kougami Shinya and the rest of members and fight the crime justly and according to the Sibyl System. Now, why did I recommend this? I'll give a little spoiler for that. You see, the settings of Psycho-Pass interprets how the law system could change because of high rate of crimes in everyday life. Even by measuring the rate of one's state of mind, personality and stress level, those people would be either pursued, apprehended or killed immediately. Frankly, if this Sibyl System did...

:: 2013 Anime Review ::

Image
Salam, good day peeps! I just looked at the posts I have done so far AND ... I found four (or more) posts regarding to anime reviews. Since I am currently getting my supply of fresh anime with little sister's help , I decided to write another review. Hopefully, my review can help some anime lovers around the world. Giggles. First is Kyoukai no Kanata, or Beyond the Boundary, is one of the 2013 fall anime that I look forward to watch. This comedy-romance-fantasy-adventure genre anime tells the story of Kanbara Akihito and Kuriyama Mirai as they have met each other at the school rooftop in which he thought Mirai wanted to commit suicide and ended up being stabbed by her instead. Mirai inherited blood manipulation and she can form a sword with her blood while Akihito inherited youmu's healing ability which makes him invulnerable to wound and I.M.M.O.R.T.A.L..  Here, I personally loved this anime's way of teaching self-appreciation  and perhaps determination and passio...

:: Autumn Anime 2012 Reviews! ::

Image
Salam, good evening peeps! Finally, new Japanese animations arrived. So, I've watched a few anime(s) for this season. Here are some reviews for y'all! [Image source :  link ] First is 'K'- yes, that's the name. [You might need to type 'K anime' when you're trying to ask Mr. Google, LOL] What I can tell about this one is that the characters have powers [or so] and frankly, I merely know the characters and NOT the PLOT. Sorry about that, peeps! FYI, there are a lot of 'beautiful boys' characters and I really loved all of them! [especially Yashiro and Kuroh~] :3 For fellow Malaysians who are subscribing Variety pack in ASTRO, you can watch this new animation live, with same timeline as Japan,  from ANIMAX! Recommend this animation for those who love beautiful boys! :3

:: 2012 Summer Anime pt. 2 ::

Image
Hey there peeps! It's another review for few 2012 summer animation in which I already put on watch list! Here goes for nothing~ Chouyaku Hyakunin Isshu: Uta Koi is all about poem - love poems especially. Thus, you can expect  romance in every episode you watched. Besides that, from this anime, people will able to get to know  the structures of haiku [Japanese poetry] too. For those who love literature, I recommend you to watch this. Next one is Kokoro Connect. This anime unveil mystery and supernatural genre as five main characters - Taichi, Inaba, Aoki, Yui and Iori swap each other's personalities and thus finding their way to solve the mystery. To be frank, I personally like this because of personality swapping [which I do like to experience too]. For these genres' lovers, this is what you can watch throughout the season.

:: 2012 Summer Anime ::

Image
Salam, good day peeps! Am here for a short update on my current interest - anime! And it's summer, so what can you expect less from here? Haha. So, I watched these two new animation yesterday and here goes nothing~ Arcana Famiglia [or you can refer the full title from the image] unveils the story of Arcana [a kind of power] users. An Arcana Duello was to be conducted by Mondo, the 'Papa' of the Arcana family and whoever wins the battle will be granted his / her wish as well as make one as the next 'Papa' and marry to his daugther. From here, it focuses on characters - Felicita [the daughter], Liberta and Nova. Not only that, there are also characters like Debito, Pace, Luca, Dante and also Jolly. Tari Tari tells the stories of five main characters - Wakana, Wien, Taichi, Konatsu and Sawa in their third-year high school year. They, who are too young to be addressed as adults, are no longer think themselves as children any longer as all of them have their...

:: From Up on Poppy Hill ::

Image
Hey there, peeps! [Salam as well] Few days back, I watched this Japanese animation movie entitled "From Up on Poppy Hill", or in its Japanese title "Kokurikozaka Kara". This movie was produced by Studio Ghibli, which is also known for few anime movies such as Spirited Away, The Cat Returns and Howl's Moving Castle.

:: Anime on Holiday! ::

Image
Hey, hey! It has been a while since I updated my blog. Well, so long for the so-called determination to be active writer during holiday. Realizing that I have one more week before holiday, I guess I have learned much to be more sarcastic rather than being comical. [As a teacher, I should be able to tell a few jokes right? *stressed*] Anyway, I have promised to review anime(s} [a.k.a. Japanese animation] during holiday and here goes my so-called awesome reviews~

:: Fruits Basket - Amazingly Sentimental ::

Image
Salam, good day peeps! [mode: nostalgic~] Back: Souma Ayame, Uotani Arisa. Front: Souma Kyo [the cat], Souma Kagura, Souma Kisa, Honda Tohru, Hanajima Saki. It's been a very long time since last time I watched Fruits Basket - an anime shown in NTV7; weekends. This particular anime has never failed me, not even once. Although the anime-styled drawings isn't alike the manga [comic]-styled, the anime itself captivates the audiences because of the family and self values.

:: Manga Time (2) ::

Image
Salam, good morning! [mode : manga time again?] Halo! Today, the class is a little bit free. Since I'm free, I want to tell a bit of my favorite manga[s] by other works, and perhaps some profile view of the mangaka[s].
