:: Not into It ::

I'm no English songs fan. Yeah, I blurted that one. I know, in order to improvise the vocab and all,  listening to songs is one way to do so. The problem is, I don't, since all I listened to are J-pop and K-pop. I do like watching television shows and movies  [of course in English] though. The truth is that, I didn't really hate English songs. I just dislike it, that's all. There's time when it didn't fit me well especially the lyrics. Well, I love the beats though. I just feel that nowadays songs are way too ...  impossible for me to understand, somehow. ps. This is just how I feel when I heard any English songs, except from Aziatix, my current fave. No hard feelings. *laugh* pss. Currently listening to Alright by Aziatix. *laugh*

:: Boy + Girl = Lovers? ::

"One simply assume that a pair of a girl and a boy as lovers." Other than having close female friends, I also have close friends from the other side. Dan is one of them. Well, he is a very close friend indeed.  And so, we have our breakfast together every day. [Well, almost every day.] Guess what? One fine day, people give a very strange stare towards both of us. Therefore, the statement above was said by him when that happened. Then, I recalled something when I was chatting via email with a girl friend. People tend to think as how stated above. But, you see, a boy and a girl can be close friends. Well, yeah, we do have small things to be argued and people took it in another way, as if both of us were couples. I don't feel anything more than being just close friends. Besides, his personality somehow resembles my younger brother. So, he is a very close friend, to me. Nothing more than that.

:: She Who Teach Me to be BETTER ::

Image
Lovely pairing, right? *lovelove* To be honest, I was really overwhelmed with those kids back then, especially for this particular little girl. Oh yes, she's Brenda Amelia and as you can see, she's physically disabled. She has this cute and sweet and sincere smile on her face and I love seeing that despite of her physical state. And yes, she has touched the deepest part of my heart and my friends' too and I feel sad [ps. Some boys in my group cried when they saw her eating using her feet]. Only then I realized that people always complained even the smallest thing about themselves without thinking of the others who are unlike them. Therefore, she's the reason why I take a different perspective when I viewed my life so far. She's the reason why I admired people who are determined to change their life even though they are disabled.  And the most important - I learn a lesson as to be happy with my life as well as to be stronger and having the confidence with...

:: Love and Money ::

Money is a necessity. We usually heard this anonymous quote saying; "No money no talk". Well, though it is not important when it comes to one's heart content, money has becoming a necessary item as to buy needs such as foods and shelter [home]. When we go to the public toilet, we need to pay to enter. I'm not saying love is not important. In fact, love is vital. You need love for your family. You need love for nature. You need love for other people existed around you. I do prefer love than money because of its destructive effect in relationships. Mum said, money can be achieved but it takes more effort in building ties with others. So, what say you?

:: Fighting on Facebook via Status ::

[Salam] This issue here; the so-called facebook-status-attack has been something seldom when it comes to social networking. I said it because once a while I saw these wall posts of my friends and *click* I knew something went wrong. Now, tell me why it happens? It's because of the misunderstandings which the people make it big. Sorry if offended but really, I myself was offended with my own statement. I used to do status-attacking in facebook and it leaded to one-week depression. It's true! As I have said earlier, I myself offended by my own words because I did it and it resulted cold war within both of us. A week later, both of us got better after confronting each other. Thus, it's not good to have these kind of attack. Who knows, something you said might lead to cyber attack in which it can cause a lot more of damages towards the innocent one? THEREFORE, DO TAKE THIS IN MIND! If you want to say something, say it face-to-face, eye-to-eye. Don't make it a big iss...

:: Because We Learn, We Have Fun! ::

Image
Salam, good day peeps! [mode: YIPPEEE!] Yesterday, we had our fifth presentation on Child Development and... we got to play 'Do as I say' and Musical Chair. The first game, we all played inside the class. The second one, we did it OUTSIDE on the road.  When we all played Musical Chair, not only for the sake of the subject   [I think] all of us have the most enjoyable moments as perhaps  we think of our childhood memories; when we used to play this kind of games. For example, Ting-ting , Hide-and-Seek, The polices and the robbers, Hantu Rimau [or what I called as Datuk Harimau ] and other games! Just as how we feel at that moment here, the feelings are the same as before but of course, now I played this game with grownups . In the end, because we learned how we, once-upon-a-time-a-child-too, behaved and felt, we have one of the joyous day, HERE IN CAMPUS. That's all for now. Till then. p.s. And I enjoyed taking photos, AGAIN!

:: Hoping for a good day ::

Salam, peeps! [Hope you all have a good day today and the day after!] 2 days in second week of lecture sessions and I got myself tasks to do within this week. Not only pair works, also INDIVIDUAL work too! It's going to be my first in my degree year. I am no good public speaker, not by any chances! [read:PANICKING!] It has becoming one of my biggest flaws when it comes to presenting something in front of people. And then, the B.I.G. matters. Ever since getting some so-called shock from last Weds, I haven't taken any big steps to change myself in becoming a leader for my own group. Until today, I still dumbfounded with it. Even so, I really appreciate that a friend of mine keep reminding me about it. Deep down I pray for guidance and hopefully, I will get through all this. I'm sure the day after will be A-Okay! ps. I can't stop giggling inside when I saw the comments in my Facebook walls. Sure made my day! [read:HAPPY]

:: Kids and English ::

Salam, good day peeps! [mode: takoyaki!] Few hours back, my little cousin asked a favor to me. She asked me to help out with her English since it is not her cup of tea [probably]. So I made up my mind to do that favor. And yeah, I do think that kids are playful these days and tend not to focus on their teacher. That is what had been crossed into my head as they [the little ones] writes some sentences and do spelling tests - taught by me. What I can say about kids and English is that they knew English as one of the difficult subjects taught in primary school. They know English since preschool but they do not know how it applies. Well that's all for now. ps. Only then I recalled the visit I have during our TESL Camp last semester.

:: It's the end ::

Salam, good day peeps! [mode: holiday! no more of that EXAM!] Us, TESL-ians 2010 had just finished our final paper for our foundation year. I can't believe that it has ended. Somehow, I felt bittersweet in my heart. Being happy that I was able to give my all in answering the questions for all the papers as well as closing the last chapter of our year with it. It has been an amazing life; as PPISMP TESL. I thought to myself; would the degree years be the same as right now? Well, sure it will be different in terms of the subjects that we have to take next year as well as the hours of lectures. Oh well, with this, I closed the last chapter for my foundation year in this campus. Well, get going for now! [smile]

:: Cool-and-Spicy 19 part 1 ::

Image
Salam, good morning! [mode : 19-year-old bah ini .] Never thought of saying this but, this time, I'll be 19 today. [laugh] Okay, that's really funny when I recalled the moments whereby I was dissatisfied to have late birth date than my friends. Since most of my classmates already becoming 19, 20 and 21 respectively [okay, there are another two of my classmates who still 18], I always thought that this day will never come. My latest self-captured photo. *cute eyes* Same as being 18, for me, 19 indicates maturity in thoughts and so on. Even so, I still remain the same; the silly-happy-timid kiddo! As how my friend said, 'Age is just number. What matters is that our heart always be young', hope the childish side of me is in balance of my more-mature-and-feminine side. My recent artwork! This time for my birthday, I pray for my exams to pass with flying colors. Also, I want to draw something before the end of my third semester. Oh, by next year [hopeful...

:: Beautiful World ::

Image
Salam, good evening! [mode: reminiscing good memories] Okay, it may obvious that this week will be a hectic one [again] before the FINALS. Yeah, the final exams for the us, PPISMP TESL Semester 3 will face next week. Yet, I am laying on my bed while listening to musics. [Being ignorant to the situation huh?] Anyway, now listening to, probably, melancholic-kind-of-song entitled 'Beautiful World' by Ai Maeda; the ending theme song for anime Kino's Journey. [If you ever heard it] Try listening to the song while checking the lyrics below. [From Anime Lyrics dot Com.]

:: Parody ::

Image
Salam, good morning! [mode : not sleepy and bored.] According to Dictionary.com, parody was defined as; # a   humorous   or   satirical   imitation   of   a   serious   piece   of  literature   or   writing:   his   hilarious   parody   of   H amlet's   soliloquy. # the   genre   of   literary   composition   represented   by   such  imitations. # a   burlesque   imitation   of   a   musical   composition. # any   humorous,   satirical,   or   burlesque   imitation,   as   of   a  person,   event,   etc. Not getting the idea? Perhaps this could do the trick... Oh, is it for real? From my own understanding, parody is an act of imitating original works [name it; songs, a particular line in a film etc.] as "to mock, comment on or trivialize"(Wikipedia) i...

:: Lost and Found ::

Image
Salam, good evening! [mode : it's cloudy and raining.staying in the room instead.] [sigh] Another thoughtful day for me. Well, not so thoughtful anyway because I almost lost my 'love'! [cough,cough] My 'love' here is none than other; pink-colored CANON IXUS 105. [sigh] I was so excited to go for lunch with my [girl]friends; Wani and Hanis without even knowing my camera was left behind at the class. See how clumsy I am? Few hours before... Now... The 'best' thing about is that I only found out about the camera when a friend told me whe we were eating at the restaurant. Bummer. I prayed hard for the camera to be safely secured in dormitory and THERE it was. One of my [girl]friends from same class brought it. So grateful and I learned my lesson THE SECOND TIME. Hopefully I don't lost anything again [after this incident and another one back then].

:: Strikes! ::

Image
Salam, good evening! [mode : too boring and too lazy.] Greatly I announced that our class has dominated most of Merdeka month activities. Third in Merdeka poem [kudos to Saiful] Click here to read his work . First in portrait [kudos to Desiree]. First in banner [well done to all TESL G2!]. First in 'Ceria Merdeka' [thanks to Mr. L for making us to do class make over!]. And then, we won first place in 'Pertandingan Keceriaan dan Kebersihan' for last month! The trophy. Second-runner-up-prize. Apalah mereka buat ni? Hampers! G2! More photos HERE! So, we had our photo-shoots with the hampers and small trophy. Today was really great and hope the day after will be a better one! [smile] p/s. TESL dominates the charts for Merdeka month! [laugh] Go TESL-ians!

:: Trapped ::

Image
Salam, good evening! [mode : kitchen time!] It's really scary-and-funny moment for me. I... I was trapped! I mean, as if I was locked inside without any keys around. But, that place I was trapped into was my own home at the kitchen. [annoyed] It turned out that the door has been malfunctioned! [annoyed] With the help from my siblings and my mother, I was able to get out. After they found out the real deal, they decided to remove the door lock. Most of all, at that time, I was cooking as my family members were trying to get me out. [How irony!] In the end, I still managed to calm myself from panicking even more by cooking chicken soup and veggies. THE moral here; beware of malfunctioning door lock. [I thought I was going to have a bit of claustrophobic then].

:: Everything is ... (4) ::

Image
Salam, good evening! [mode : relaxed study month!] Am I? This week has been a hectic one because we, TESL-ians Semester 3 have our mock trials before the final examination in next few weeks left [and I really hate that part.]

:: What did I do? ::

Image
Salam, good evening! [mode : thinking] [sigh] I don't really indulging myself with any gadgets before admitted into teacher training institution. Why? Because I don't feel the urge for it, exception for mails and anime time! In fact, I think I spent my holidays now with my ASUS notebook and CANON IXUS 105 [and those which are related.] Since entering this new stage in my life; as a teacher trainee, which are;

:: Virtual piano ::

Image
Salam, good evening! [mode : going for E.S. and L.D.S. revision tonight!] Look at this one! This is Virtual Piano ! [Click the name to enter.] I just checked it last night after a while. Not my first time of playing virtual instruments, that's for sure. I even tried for Electronic Keyboard online. [Just make sure you put in the right key point in search engine]. It made me think of learning to play piano in particular. Not only it has music sheets so that you can play along, you can also change the style [more like changing color of your preference] and record and listen to your plays! So, check it out! p/s. Slow Internet connection, slow loading. Online ones, what can you expect? [sigh] That's all for now! Have fun playing one!

:: Sidang Redaksi? ::

Image
Salam, good evening. [mode : anticipating!] Wow. It's nice to have everything rest in its place. ME? I don't have to worry about anything for now, not until tomorrow when I have to go back home by bus after an event at KK. [sigh] Ah, I also have matters regarding to Sidang Redaksi for the campus magazine and our EXCO Multimedia have done an interview session just then. And, as promised, our Y.D.P. came and help us with the session. What I can say is that it went smoothly.
