Nadie's Quirky Mind

Salam, good day peeps! So, it's that time again. Time to write another anime watch list...and this is for the previous Spring. I must admit, despite it being spring and all the romance should be bundled in animations , I must say this season has a few good anime releases and it is not romance all the way. Laughs . Read: In reviewing, I will be focusing on those I have finished watching. As for those I have yet to finish, I will simply introduce its title. With a different kind of writing for this watch list, let's get into it! Shall we? credit:myanimelist Boku no Hero Academia Season 2 Alternate title: My Hero Academia Season 2 Source: Manga (Horikoshi Kouhei) Episodes: 25 (continuation until the end of Summer) Duration: 24 minutes per ep. Animation Studio: BONES The plot of the current season for Boku no Hero Academia picked up the continuation of its first season where Midoriya Izuku (Deku)  and his friends are involved in the UA Sports Festi...

Salam, good day peeps! How's life for y'all? Mine has been a bit more than ordinary... probably because two weeks ago, it was holiday and the month of Ramadan finally arrived this year. A lot has happened since few days but yeah, I'm living my life with all might. ANYWAY, THAT'S NOT WHY I'M WRITING TODAY! Yesterday, I watched this particular animation film that has been receiving great reviews from all anime and manga fans. So, I thought "maybe I should share a piece of my mind here too." Without further ado, let's start! Credit: myanimelist(.)net The film I'm going to talk about is entitled Koe no Katachi or translated as The Shape of Voice . The film was adapted based on the manga of same name written and illustrated by Ouima Yoshitoki and it tells the story of Ishida Shouya , a wild young boy and Nishimiya Shouko , a deaf young girl. When Shouko first transferred to his class, Shouya and the rest of his classmates learned about her ...

Salam, good day peeps! It has been a long~ time since I'm writing here. Wait no further! Here I am to ...update my virtual-web-filled-blog with another anime recommendation! This time, it's 2016/17 Winter edition.  'Not again, Nadie.' 'Yes. (Slaps myself in the face.)' Anyway, it just happened that I have been blessed with good WiFi connection at home and thus, I was able to catch up with few of those anime(s) during the season. Do take note; whatever anime(s) I have been listed and recommending here, I personally finished it and for the anime in which I have watched 1st episode for impression purposes, I'll just list it out just like that. So, let's get started. Shall we?

Salam, good day peeps! O-okay! Here I am, updating my blog while waiting for my posting and taking care of my grandma at home. Since I have the time to spare, I continued watching anime (again) and decided to give you guys a list of Winter 2015/2016 anime I'm currently watching - who knows, maybe you guys too . Without further ado, let's go!

Salam, good day peeps! So, I'm just watching some anime today...and guess what? I'm going to do my Fall (autumn) 2015 anime review. Do take note that the anime mentioned are those I watched now. So, let's get started! First one is Shingeki! Kyojin Chuugakkou  in which embarks on the journey of Eren, Mikasa and Armin alongside their comrades; Jean, Bertholt, Sasha, Christa and Ymir, and seniors; Levi, Hange, and Rico at Titan Junior High School. The theme of this anime is very opposite to Shingeki no Kyojin   which has a much darker and serious-like theme . Since this is a parody of the previous anime itself, there will be a lot of funny gigs in each episode and you will not be disappointed with what you will see. Laughs. For those who are not fond with Shingeki no Kyojin  and more likely to relieve stress with laughter, how about watching this anime? I assure you guys, each episode runs for about 18 minutes and you will not realize the time until it finishes. N...

Salam, good day peeps! Yesterday, I went to the cinema with my family and got to watch Kingsman: The Secret Service with my younger sister while both of my parents and my youngest brother watched a Chinese movie which I don't remember the name . Anyway, back to the topic, here I am to give my thoughts on the movie. Let's get started! Kingsman: The Secret Service was first released in 2014 and later, officially released worldwide this year. It embarked the story of Gary Eggsy Unwin whose father died saving the lives of fellow Kingsman including senior spy Harry Hart. Feeling guilt over the death, he offered help to Eggsy and his mother by calling the number at the back of the medal and giving out the code; "Oxford, not brog". 17 years later, Eggsy met Hart again but at that time, Eggsy was getting into trouble with the police and he called the number and gave the code as how Hart instructed. As they were chit-chatting about Eggsy's late father, along with h...

Salam, good day peeps! Before begin another review, may I say ... IT'S STILL HOLIDAY!? Yes! Another day without thinking about le campus. Okay, here goes! Psycho-Pass, which was first released on the fall season in 2012, was an anime centering the lives of law-abiding police officers and enforcement officers. This action-psychological-science fiction-thriller anime will bring you into the lives of Tsunemori Akane, a young lady who became one of the Criminal Investigation Division alongside Kougami Shinya and the rest of members and fight the crime justly and according to the Sibyl System. Now, why did I recommend this? I'll give a little spoiler for that. You see, the settings of Psycho-Pass interprets how the law system could change because of high rate of crimes in everyday life. Even by measuring the rate of one's state of mind, personality and stress level, those people would be either pursued, apprehended or killed immediately. Frankly, if this Sibyl System did...

Hey there peeps! It's another review for few 2012 summer animation in which I already put on watch list! Here goes for nothing~ Chouyaku Hyakunin Isshu: Uta Koi is all about poem - love poems especially. Thus, you can expect  romance in every episode you watched. Besides that, from this anime, people will able to get to know  the structures of haiku [Japanese poetry] too. For those who love literature, I recommend you to watch this. Next one is Kokoro Connect. This anime unveil mystery and supernatural genre as five main characters - Taichi, Inaba, Aoki, Yui and Iori swap each other's personalities and thus finding their way to solve the mystery. To be frank, I personally like this because of personality swapping [which I do like to experience too]. For these genres' lovers, this is what you can watch throughout the season.

Ice Age 4: Continent Drift is one of my mot wanted film list this year. Ever since looking enthusiastic on the posters and watching the previews, I vowed to go for it at once! So, here is how I think about the film, in one word, which is... A.W.E.S.O.M.E.! Honestly, I just love this film since the first one! Not only the characters are increasing and there is love sparks between the tigers, the plot is very fascinating and made you wonder whether the continents are made because of what the squirrel had done. [Well, it was the squirrel's doing that made those incidents.] Hahaha! ALSO, the film has too much HUMOR and made all of us in the cinema hall laughed our pants off!  I would like to recommend all to watch this film because it is very suitable for family and yeah, "We can share our happiness!"

Salam, good day peeps! Am here for a short update on my current interest - anime! And it's summer, so what can you expect less from here? Haha. So, I watched these two new animation yesterday and here goes nothing~ Arcana Famiglia [or you can refer the full title from the image] unveils the story of Arcana [a kind of power] users. An Arcana Duello was to be conducted by Mondo, the 'Papa' of the Arcana family and whoever wins the battle will be granted his / her wish as well as make one as the next 'Papa' and marry to his daugther. From here, it focuses on characters - Felicita [the daughter], Liberta and Nova. Not only that, there are also characters like Debito, Pace, Luca, Dante and also Jolly. Tari Tari tells the stories of five main characters - Wakana, Wien, Taichi, Konatsu and Sawa in their third-year high school year. They, who are too young to be addressed as adults, are no longer think themselves as children any longer as all of them have their...

Do take note that this review is based on my opinions. This film, Prom, was released last year. It covered the stories of Nova and her fellow friends in high school as they were preparing the Semi-Formal prom. As the film progressed, it became complicated as the decorations for the prom has been ruined and there were only three weeks left, as well as each character faced their own conflicts; one of it was the time when Mei [Nova's friend] was accepted into Parsons and cannot make up her mind whether to enter Parsons or to go to the same university as Justin's [Mei's boyfriend]. The ending of the film was [kind of] sweet one, and you better find out why~*giggle* Well, to be honest, I only watched this last night and it was very nice as to watch the preparations for a school event and it reminded me with our TESL Night just now. Not only that, you might also like to watch the conflicts of a person who has no date for a prom. Oh well~ Overall, the presentation was very...

Hey there! After all the things going with assignments for weeks, FINALLY - yes, finally I watch this film entitled "The Vow". Ever since my friends posted up Facebook status with the film, I can't deny my enviousness when they were totally happy watching it. So, let's see how things going for the film, shall we? [Take note that I'm no good reviewer, so bear with me~] The Vow tells the story of a pair of married couple, Leo and Paige Collins who had misfortune fate after both of them got into accident. After knowing Paige lost her PRESENT memories with Leo, he gives his all to regain his wife's lost memories. Unexpectedly, Paige, who started to view Leo as a total stranger, tried to unveil the reasons of why she decided a new path in her life when she regain her PAST moments.

As what I have told before, I went to watch 'Man on a Ledge' with my parents [despite of my mind flying away  for B.I.G. event]. And so, here's what happened in the film. " An ex-cop turned con threatens to jump to his death from a Manhattan hotel rooftop. The nearest New York Police officer immediately responds to a screaming woman and calls dispatch. More Officers arrive with SWAT and tactical command along with fire-fighters. The police then dispatches a female police psychologist personally requested to talk him down from the ledge. However, things aren't as straightforward and clearcut as they appear to be.   " [IMDb] Located at New York, Nick Cassidy [Sam Worthington], an ex-con, threaten to jump off from Roosevelt Hotel and then requested personally to talk to Lydia Mercer [Elizabeth Banks], a police psychologist. As the negotiation goes on, his young brother, Joey Cassidy [Jamie Bell] and his girlfriend, Angie [Genesis Rodriguez] sneake...

Salam, good day peeps! [mode: nostalgic~] Back: Souma Ayame, Uotani Arisa. Front: Souma Kyo [the cat], Souma Kagura, Souma Kisa, Honda Tohru, Hanajima Saki. It's been a very long time since last time I watched Fruits Basket - an anime shown in NTV7; weekends. This particular anime has never failed me, not even once. Although the anime-styled drawings isn't alike the manga [comic]-styled, the anime itself captivates the audiences because of the family and self values.

Salam, good day peeps! [mode: at home.] *giggle* I am now at home, enjoying my time watching people and TV  before someone informs me to retake my exam papers again and I am hoping for NO TAKING BACK ! Anyway, here is something that I want you all to see! Well, yeah, besides of recommending this Japanese animation which was released last October 2011  I was interested by the quote "I am you. You are me," said by the characters who are accepting their own 'OTHER SELF' a.k.a. PERSONA. Oh, I forgot to mention the title right? It entitles PERSONA 4 -The Animation. The animation is adapted from the game with same name. I downloaded three episodes before I ended up deleting all of it  and sure it has subtitles, you can't just expecting me to understand Japanese as easy as pie. I feel that everyone sometimes has doubts in themselves. Everyone gets egoistic and wouldn't admit their true characteristics. Perhaps because I watched this for few times, I learn...

Salam, good morning! [mode : third class mentality] Wan Maimunah's acting in this one too! The audience and FULL HOUSE, yaw! Last night, along with my friends, seniors and juniors, we went for a theater show at UMS. At that time, we watched 'Semurni Kasih Ummi' within two hours [or less, I can't recall]. There were other students from other universities, that's for sure. Although I can't tolerate on some of their attitude at the beginning of the show and also the moment we entered the Recital Hall [and seriously, I thought I was cursing those people who had third class mentality], the show itself brings all of us a great entertainment! Laughter and tears; yeah, I laughed and [almost] cried.

Salam, good morning! [mode : going to sleep with laptop on!] Eh-eh. For last two days,  I have been indulging myself with movies. Yeah, MOVIES. Last time I watch one in cinema was the KUNG-FU PANDA . So, I really enjoyed my time within the week. Now, I can do my revisions. U-W-A-A! Next week is the trial! I am so afraid of thinking about it already! Anyway, the few movies I have seen were; Troll Hunter [originally it is in 2010], The Cat [one of the Korean horror movies] and Dream House [U.S. thriller movie].
