:: 2017 Spring Anime - What to Watch? ::

Salam, good day peeps!

So, it's that time again. Time to write another anime watch list...and this is for the previous Spring. I must admit, despite it being spring and all the romance should be bundled in animations, I must say this season has a few good anime releases and it is not romance all the way. Laughs. Read: In reviewing, I will be focusing on those I have finished watching. As for those I have yet to finish, I will simply introduce its title.

With a different kind of writing for this watch list, let's get into it!

Shall we?

Boku no Hero Academia Season 2

Alternate title: My Hero Academia Season 2

Source: Manga (Horikoshi Kouhei)

Episodes: 25 (continuation until the end of Summer)

Duration: 24 minutes per ep.

Animation Studio: BONES

The plot of the current season for Boku no Hero Academia picked up the continuation of its first season where Midoriya Izuku (Deku) and his friends are involved in the UA Sports Festival as pro heroes observed them and their quirk potentials for future internship (and possibly employment). My take for the 1st half of the 2nd season? It's packed of action with a proper dose of humor and a little pinch of overcoming self-concept issues. I am still watching this and I have a feeling that its 2nd half will be a turning point for our hero! PLUS ULTRA!

Oushitsu Kyoushi Heine

Alternate title: The Royal Tutor

Source: Manga (Akai Higasa)

Episodes: 12 (completed)

Duration: 24 minutes per ep.

Animation Studio: Bridge

The anime unveiled the story of Heine Wittgenstein, the royal tutor for the young princes of Glanzreich namely Kai von Glanzreich, Bruno von Glanzreich, Leonhard von Glanzreich and Licht von Glanzreich as they were the candidates for the King's position. As the session goes, Prof. Heine gave his all in teaching the princes to overcome their weaknesses and eventually gave them all the lesson they can never forget. My take on this anime? It's quite fascinating and educating as to see Heine's drastic teaching methods to accommodate each one of them and eventually brought out the impact in their lives.

Warau Salesman New

Alternate Title: The Laughing Salesman

Source: Manga (Fujiko Fujio, later Fujiko Fujio A)

Episodes: 12 (completed)

Duration: 24 minutes per ep.

Animation Studio: Shin-Ei Animation

This anime told the story of not-so-ordinary salesman named Moguro Fukuzou with his signature facial expression - terrifying even with a smile on his face. Every day, he came up to whomever his services is needed the most. As he offered them a great help for his customers, a 'friendly' reminder was included for each service he has offered. Words to describe the anime? Irony and cynical. Moguro is a salesman who conduct a rather generous yet suspicious business that required no money and the way he has in his sleeves as to persuade his clients to give in temptations of a lifetime with the price in form of their hearts. Whenever they truly overdoing the 'kindness', Mogure instantly came and picked up his clients' debts.

Kabukibu!

Alternate Title: Kabuki Club

Source: Light novel (Eda Yuuri, illustrations by Ishinoya)

Episodes: 12 (completed)

Duration: 25 minutes per ep.

Animation Studio: Studio Deen

This anime is about a kabuki enthusiast and a high school student named Kurusu Kurogo who is very determined to create Kabuki Club...only to realize he and his best friend, Murase Tonbo have to work hard in creating the club itself. Opinions about Kabukibu? This anime is basically a step-by-step episode as to how Kurogo and Tonbo managed to create the club and gather new members for Kabuki Club by themselves. This also speaks for the leadership value Kurogo has in his own club and how innovative he is in terms of getting other people to understand kabuki itself.

Alice to Zouroku

Alternate Title: Alice&Zoroku

Source: Manga(Imai Tetsuya)

Episodes: 12 (completed)

Duration: 23 minutes per ep.

Animation Studio: J.C. Staff

This anime is about a young girl who has an extraordinary ability called 'Dream of Alice' that lead to experimentation towards her and others. Constant experimenting makes her want to escape and she succeeds. While wandering around Shinjuku, she meets Kawashima Zouroku who takes care of her, as if she is one of his grandchildren and also giving that young girl's name - Sana. Together, their daily lives will always be filled with Sana's growing knowledge of outside world and Zouroku being the protector for Sana.
Opinions on Alice to Zouroku? This anime shows how cohabitation between two different persons makes one's life much meaningful as well as delivering the idea of family love from both characters.

As for those anime I have yet to finish, the list goes as shown below;

Fukumenkei Noise ( The Anonymous Noise)

Atom: The Beginning
