Still getting prep with school-related matters. Hehe. Anyway, last year, during school holidays, I decided to read a book that I bought and was able to finish it before Sunday. So, I thought I should give a book review for it. That's why I'm writing today. YAY for Productivity!

:: The World May Not Revolve Around One ::

There is a saying that says, "The world does not revolve for only one person." I have been wondering about it for quite some time. Somehow, I understand bits of it since there are millions of human being in this world. Despite that, I have always felt that, within this world, there is a side story for me. That side story is for me as the main character. My side of story may occur to others who happened to be similar as me. The 'me' who has been constantly feeling insecure of myself. The 'me' who has a rather slow development in achievement. The 'me' who has a few highlights to be proud of throughout my life. The 'me' who has tried her best in her own way and time for things. However, I am glad. This side of the story that revolves within the world is for me. Here, the main character of the story is me. Whatever happens to me, I know I can overcome it with guidance. I am glad, that this side story is mine to explore and discover....

Image
Salam and good day peeps! You guys would probably know that I love reading and for the past few years, I've been reading different kinds of books - name it; NOVELS , COMICS and SELF REFLECTION & IMPROVEMENT . In my previous post, I did mention about book reviews. So, for today's post, I will be writing about a novel entitled One of Us is Lying  by Karen M. McManus. p.s. I'll try to write without much spoilers on the loose. Here's a description about the novel. Pay close attention and you might solve this. On Monday afternoon, five students at Bayview High walk into detention. Bronwyn - the brain - is Yale-bound and never breaks a rule. Addy - the beauty - is the picture-perfect homecoming princess. Nate - the criminal - is already on probation for dealing. Cooper - the athlete - is the all-star baseball pitcher. Simon - the outcast - is the creator of Bayview High's notorious gossip app. Only, Simon never makes it out of that classroom. Befor...

:: My Summary of 2017 ::

Salam, good day peeps! Hope you guys are doing well today. As seen on the title - yep - 2017 has finally ended and now it is 2018. Three months of 2018 has been a busy period of time but thankfully, the pressure has yet to rise so I am good for now. So, what happened in 2017? At work, I was appointed as the head of 2 extra-curricular activities which was Chess Club and Malaysian Red Cross Society (PBSMM). Not only that, I was assigned to take care of Year 3 kids and also became their English teacher for the same year. Likewise, I was teaching English to Year 6 kids for the first time and as the results were out,  6 of my pupils have satisfactory result in UPSR in 2017.  At home, I helped around whenever my family needed such as buying them things they needed for work purposes. Health and finance related, those things were great. I managed to maintain my weight ... which was not a good thing . I also managed to open savings account at the bank and trying out bud...

:: 2017 Spring Anime - What to Watch? ::

Image
Salam, good day peeps! So, it's that time again. Time to write another anime watch list...and this is for the previous Spring. I must admit, despite it being spring and all the romance should be bundled in animations , I must say this season has a few good anime releases and it is not romance all the way. Laughs . Read: In reviewing, I will be focusing on those I have finished watching. As for those I have yet to finish, I will simply introduce its title. With a different kind of writing for this watch list, let's get into it! Shall we? credit:myanimelist Boku no Hero Academia Season 2 Alternate title: My Hero Academia Season 2 Source: Manga (Horikoshi Kouhei) Episodes: 25 (continuation until the end of Summer) Duration: 24 minutes per ep. :: The Shape of Voice ::

Image
Salam, good day peeps! How's life for y'all? Mine has been a bit more than ordinary... probably because two weeks ago, it was holiday and the month of Ramadan finally arrived this year. A lot has happened since few days but yeah, I'm living my life with all might. ANYWAY, THAT'S NOT WHY I'M WRITING TODAY! Yesterday, I watched this particular animation film that has been receiving great reviews from all anime and manga fans. So, I thought "maybe I should share a piece of my mind here too." Without further ado, let's start! Credit: myanimelist(.)net The film I'm going to talk about is entitled Koe no Katachi or translated as The Shape of Voice . The film was adapted based on the manga of same name written and illustrated by Ouima Yoshitoki and it tells the story of Ishida Shouya , a wild young boy and Nishimiya Shouko , a deaf young girl. When Shouko first transferred to his class, Shouya and the rest of his classmates learned about her ...

:: Netizen Oh Netizen ::

Salam, good day peeps! It is Wesak Day and it is also one-day holiday here. But yeah, with exams coming up, I'm busy with the papers . (insert awkward emoji). Don't mind that and let's go forward! Anyway, I'm writing this to address about the Internet citizen or you guys may know well of its abbreviation; NETIZEN.  Ever since the era of science and technology, the Internet has been a great mix of sources - namely references and entertainment. When that happens,a group of the Internet citizens or NETIZENS also emerges from all walks of life around the world. Having these NETIZENS nowadays can be powerful in both good and bad way . WHY? Their way of monitoring and reviewing things are the key factors .   In a way, NETIZENS are encouraging those people whom they support such as artists. These peeps prefer to talk positively and optimistically , hoping their words reach to the people they admire. They also do things they can to make their artists happy by comm...

:: 2016/17 Winter Anime - My List ::

Image
Salam, good day peeps! It has been a long~ time since I'm writing here. Wait no further! Here I am to ...update my virtual-web-filled-blog with another anime recommendation! This time, it's 2016/17 Winter edition.  'Not again, Nadie.' 'Yes. (Slaps myself in the face.)' Anyway, it just happened that I have been blessed with good WiFi connection at home and thus, I was able to catch up with few of those anime(s) during the season. Do take note; whatever anime(s) I have been listed and recommending here, I personally finished it and for the anime in which I have watched 1st episode for impression purposes, I'll just list it out just like that. So, let's get started. Shall we?

:: The Love Story I Idealize ::

Salam, good day peeps! It has been a while since writing about things related to real life. I mostly wrote about anime (since it is my interest to talk about what I'm passionate about) That aside, I had thoughts about romance life and what-not. How it triggered me to write about it? Romance novels. Like any other single  woman, I myself have been pondering with questions like "when will I have my romance..." and "where is my other half...". It get worse as I read romance novels and manga as well as watching romance anime. It get me teary and I would cry a river if there is any heart wrenching moment throughout the story... which helps me a lot when I am stressed about work . Now, the big question. What kind of love story that I idealize? I would imagine myself reading a book - let it be an English novel - while enjoying Pure Double Chocolate at The Coffee Bean and Tea Latte Shop and suddenly a man asks whether there is a space for him to sit. ...

:: Obsessed over Those Voices ::

Image
Salam, good day peeps! How's your week? Rhetoric much . Anyway, hope you guys are in good condition because I am not. BUT, THAT'S NOT THE MAIN POINT HERE!  As you may  have noticed, most topics I have been talking about is anime or   Japanese animations  and yes, while watching, I cannot simply ignored the amazing voices behind those characters. So, I've been hinting things in my Instagram account (username:naonao.nao) about this and here I am writing about Japanese voice actors ; better known as ' seiyuu '. Other definition t hat define this term is that ' seiyuu ' is known as Japanese narrators and actors in radio plays, anime and games . Without further ado, let's get started! P.s. The list is on both male and female JAPANESE voice actors, so yeah. Mind that. Also, photos are credited to whoever made those. Thank you!

:: The School of Families ::

Salam, good day peeps! It's been a long time since updating this blog filled with anime related posts. Having that writer's block at that time. Hahaha . Anyway, I realized that I didn't write much about myself that much  which contributed my writer's block situation   so I have thoughts to write one now. As the title suggests, I will be telling an interesting fact about the school I'm currently working at. Somewhere outskirt a nearby town lied a school that can be seen just besides the roads. I did not know at first until the teachers mentioned about their relations to one another. This school is filled with interrelated FAMILIES. By saying this, the teachers (and even children) are so related to each other that they themselves can see each other everyday at school and getting closer to their relatives better. I do admit that there are many families that I personally think of this school as the place for short family gathering.  Just imagine, you are at a...

:: 2016 Fall Anime Review ::

Image
Salam, good day peeps! It has been days since New Year and working ever since... but it did not stop me from writing this. Through last year's Fall anime(s), if I may say , this season might just be the one to beat. When I say that, it's just that a few of anime(s) had been a therapy for the past year and eventually suits the season of mellowness and excitement. That is why, for this entry, I'm going to recommend those anime to you guys. p.s. Be prepared...for ANOTHER SHORT REVIEW. #feelingmeh

:: 2016 Summer Anime Review ::

Image
Salam, good day peeps! Yeah, like the title suggested, I continued watching anime despite hustling and busting my way into teaching. Anyway, compared to last season's, this season compiled more of my favorite genres which are drama, romance, comedy and slice of life  and still comprised of anime(s) from different genres such as sports, musics, action and many more. So, without further ado, let's go! p.s. This review would probably my shortest one ever. *laughs*

:: Of the Drama in Life ::

Salam, good day peeps! Hope you guys have great mood in facing the dramas in real life. Hence, that is the main topic of the day. *HAHAHA* Big thanks to one of BFF's blog for triggering my idea for this entry. I'm quite absolute whereby  anyone in this world have at least dealt with dramas in real life - though novel-like drama would be nice to be dealt, since it's fictional - and at least overcame with whatever resolutions one can think of. Well, I'm sure now you are thinking of recent events relating to this topic...   because  I am .  The thing is,   no matter how determined you are to not get into these dramas, eventually it will drag you along indirectly through a third party . Example, friendship dramas. You were not even involved in your friends' quarrel but eventually dragged just for the fact that you are their friend  and perhaps due to possible reason of you being the cause of it.  So, if you have those kind of conflicts, it is b...

:: Keep It Going ::

Salam, good day peeps. So... it has been over 5 years since I have created the blog. Throughout the years of writing updates and uploading photos here, I sometime had thoughts to quit blogging because of my writer's block ... and to the fact that I usually spent more time in watching Youtube videos . *awkward laugh* Then, I realized that I love writing so much that I could not stop even if I am busy . As for the photos, I have decided to not upload photos here unless it's watermarked . So, for these few weeks, I will   do some photo checking in my Picasa Web Album via Google. Then, I will be editing those photos and finally will update the posts related. Yeah, I will keep the blog going as usual. That's all for now, thanks for reading. Till then!

:: Easy to Recognize ::

Salam, good day peeps! SO! It's Sunday...and unfortunately, the infamous Monday will come. So much for working. *sighs* But then, it's life and life must go on. :) Back to the topic of the day. Is it me...or are teachers seemed to be easily recognized?  I recently encountered with the moments when teachers are being recognized, even when they are wearing casuals. I mean, do our foreheads invisibly written I'M A TEACHER and what not? My goodness . Even yesterday when my housemates and I went for an outing, few people were able to recognize us as teachers. Then again, it might be assumable that new faces in town mean they are recently moved due to work - and by that, it could be teachers etc. . There might be assumable that people who work as teachers are easily recognized by their upbringing within the cities they are in. It might be possible right?  One thing about being teachers is that, inside a teacher, there lies definite persona and whenever being within a c...

:: Leaving (Dedication to Late Grandmother) ::

It was the usual day as always.  You were still there,  hanging onto life when you knew  it was the right time to leave.  It was unusual for you to suddenly get well when you knew that  time never waited for you. You kept silent and there were sounds in your throat and you knew it was time. Yet you cannot leave and you do not want to worry others with your difficulties. So you waited for a second. A minute. An hour. Half day. Everyone came back home and things settled down. Others were relaxed  and even joked around. The time had passed. Your breath stopped. Then, you peacefully passed when others were sad and cried. It has been a few months since then. We still remembered you. For you had been always there for them; your children and us; your grandchildren. ~ In Memory of A.O. (Dec. 1932 - May. 2016) ~

:: Old Spark May Never Die ::

Salam, good day peeps. How's life so far? Hope you guys doing as fine as fiddle. Mine has been good and since the pay day is around the corner, I am so excited and anticipating the pay I'll be getting this month. Money revolves around the world, you now. *laughs* But then, that's not the reason I'm writing today.   Amidst these weeks, my mind has been filled with 'old spark'. In other word, the guy whom I liked - and by then, it means I used to have feelings for him. It was rather mysterious one, because even after all these years,  I still can have the same vibe when I met him . I first knew this guy - let's call him "N" - since primary school. We were classmates for most of the years but I remembered we were both in the same group during that one year. Like other boys, they were either short or as same height  and in his case, he was shorter than me . We didn't consider ourselves close to each other and I thought it would remain the s...

:: Into the Path ::

Salam, good day peeps! Before that, I want to congratulate all the Sabahan teacher trainees of my batch for their "CONGRATULATIONS" in the SPP website and also... "HAPPY 6th ANNIVERSARY" to us all (regardless of which IPG one went)! SO. What's up! It's been a while since my last post. by then, it was when I was still in amidst of getting employed or not. Hahaha .  THEN. During the month of June, I checked into SPP website and it was overwhelming to think that I will be working as a teacher - a real one. (FINALLY!) The emotions running inside of me, it was something I couldn't explain. Surely I'm happy (and still am) yet, I can't be too content about it. Probably due to the fact that I'm next in line for the teacher legacy within my family. It's simply because, I have the sense of responsibility to not disgrace the honor as well as my family - especially my parents. If you ask me whether I'm prepared in every a...
