:: Obsessed over Those Voices ::
Salam, good day peeps!
How's your week? Rhetoric much. Anyway, hope you guys are in good condition because I am not.
As you may have noticed, most topics I have been talking about is anime or Japanese animations and yes, while watching, I cannot simply ignored the amazing voices behind those characters.
So, I've been hinting things in my Instagram account (username:naonao.nao) about this and here I am writing about Japanese voice actors; better known as 'seiyuu'. Other definition that define this term is that 'seiyuu' is known as Japanese narrators and actors in radio plays, anime and games. Without further ado, let's get started!
Okamoto Nobuhiko ( 岡本 信彦 ) was born on 24/10/1986 in Tokyo, Japan and first active in 2006 when he was only 20 years old. His notable roles include Usui Takumi (Kaichou wa Maid Sama, 2010), Okumura Rin (Ao no Exorcist, 2011), John Brown (Ghost Hunt, 2006), Nishinoya Yuu (Haikyuu!!, 2014-2016) and Akabane Karma (Ansatsu Kyoshitsu, 2015-2016).
The reason I like him is the fact he can bring out his characters' strong-willed persona to life and delivers a very charismatic voice acting especially Takumi, the lead male character who is quirky and romantic towards Misaki, the stoic lead female character and Nishinoya, the high-spirited and passionate libero.
Nakamura Yuuichi ( 中村 悠一 ) was born on 20/02/1980 in Kagawa, Japan and first active in 2001 when he was 21 years old. His notable roles include Tsukiyomi Ikuto (Shugo Chara!, 2007 & Shugo Chara!!, 2008 & Shugo Chara Party!, 2010), Gray Fullbuster (Fairy Tail, 2009-recent), Sanada Ryu (Kimi ni Todoke, 2009 & 2011), Kadota Kyouhei (Durarara!! 2010-recent), Kuroo Tetsuro (Haikyuu!!, 2014-2016), Shiba Tatsuya (Mahouka Koukou no Rettosei, 2014), Nozaki Umetarou (Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun, 2014) and Matsuno Karamatsu (Osomatsu-san, 2015).
The reason I like him is the fact he can delivers charismatic and youthful voice acting regardless the genre of anime he's involved whether his characters are strong and powerful such as Gray and Tatsuya or being utterly nonsense and funny throughout the series such as Grizzly (Shirokuma Cafe, 2010) and Karamatsu.
Ishida Akira ( 石田 彰 ) was born on 02/11/1967 in Aichi, Japan and first active in 1988 when he was 21 years old. The reason I like him is because of his versatility in using his high-pitched voice and personalizing youthful and cheery character (and at times being feminine) as how it can been seen in Hinata and highlights the character's seriousness with his manly voice as it can be seen in Shun and Allen.
